The Liverpool Street corridor is a continuous and safe link between the Clarendon and New Windsor areas of Salford and Manchester city centre.

Scheme description

The Liverpool Street corridor is a continuous and safe link between Salford and Manchester city centre and will make it easier and more attractive for people travelling on foot or by bike. It will include a 1.4 mile segregated cycle way and a number of other elements that will make for a smoother and more pleasant journey. These include 15 junction upgrades, six bus stop bypasses, five cycle parking spaces and upgrades to the local environment.

Initial works between Albion Way and Oldfield Road have been on site since April 2021.
